The Sabbatical. That's what I'm calling my 'resigning without a plan' move.

Well, it's not so much 'without a plan' seeing that I'm careful orchestrating my life 3 months before that final day to give myself slight improved chances in the wild.

I'm committing to three habits:

  • Read a chapter of the Bible every day
  • Read a chapter of a book every day
  • Write in this journal–The Sabbatical–every day

I do this with exactly two priorities on my mind:

  • Transform Nigeria's Education
  • Master the art of research and data analysis while at it

I'll know I have succeeded at this when these two things happen by the end of my Sabbatical:

  • Publish a paper on Nigeria's education system in a reputable journal
  • Get employed in a data analytics role

My Sabbatical is a three-month period between October and December, 2024.

Here's to all the joys and travails of the journey.
