#78 - You know how today went

Here you go: All about DataFest Africa 2024 - Day 2

I'm grateful for peace.

Really grateful for that in light of tonight's events at a neighboring street. I live in an area that is always in close proximity to violence–violence that is prone to aggressive and rapid escalation. I've been here for about 10 months and this is the closest I've been to violence–simmering, persistent violence. I mean they've been going at it for about 30 mins now and from the recent exclamations, they might already be dealing lethal blows and stabs to themselves. When I say persistent, I mean I do not know the persons or factions involved in the brawl and whether or not it could escalate to a community-wide scuffle.

Now you see, I'm really grateful for peace.

I have not read my Bible or book today.
