#91 - Milestones and checklists
Yesterday was a milestone, ~90-day streak
Well, today's just as much a milestone, about 3 months of consistent daily updates.
'About' because I did miss a couple days. I'd say 10. Does not take away from the significance though. Go, Deji!
On checklists, I've been having a good week. While I have not quite checked all of the items the same day I created them, I've checked them off. They line up to form quite significant achievements.
- Finally wrote my Moonshot blog update
- Bought and set up cardinalhealthcare.org
- Extended an employment offer to Damilare, to take on my role as I transition out of active presence at Cardinal Healthcare
- Built an Android app for Joinda
- Accepted the offer of admission and completed the screening exercise to my next degree
- Applied to a Turing job opening
- And I'm closing out on the task of setting up a new DB for Ribbon Health
Highlight of the week for me was the patient, and intentional progress I made. I did not feel overwhelmed at any point. It was a conscious effort to put new, seemingly urgent tasks at the back of my mind until I completed the ones already listed and it's been quite helpful.
- Yh, I moved to driving on a newer, major road this week.
In all of work this week, I did not pay attention to or make progress with my learning goals, but I do not feel perturbed. I'll feel more relaxed and attentive to new concepts when I do not have pending, almost-complete tasks on my backlog.
I'll be writing more about what I learned and how I approach learning soon.
For now, I celebrate.
I'm grateful for success. I'm grateful for the grit to accept and push through speed bumps on the way to success.
I have not read my Bible or book today.
